Wildflowers of Riverwood

As the flowers prepare to put on their multicoloured show, MGC is delighted to present its first in a series of field guides on the flora and fauna of Riverwood.  The book includes a remarkable collection of high-resolution images, useful information and an easy-to-use cross-indexing system.

What makes Wildflowers of Riverwood unique?  The book includes:

• All 150 plant species from 50 families from Riverwood and the Culham Trail

• anecdotes on the folklore of the plants

• references to native or non-native origin of the wildflowers, useful for establishing native gardens

Wildflowers of Riverwood was created entirely by volunteers and received a strong public support for its production.  It is truly a project by the community for the community.
