Mississauga Garden Council Welcomes You

September 8, 2008

There is lots to do and learn at Riverwood, the home of Mississauga Garden Council.

You are invited to join us at Riverwood and enjoy our education programs for children, adults and families, stewardship days, gardening and horticulture, volunteer activities and special events.

Have fun, get involved, experience the natural beauty and cultural heritage of Riverwood.  Visit the page on phenology (the science of recurring natural phenomena) prior to your visit to Riverwood.

Wildflowers of Riverwood field guide are on sale here.  According to Douglas Markoff, our Executive Director, it is an authorative field guide to the diverse wildflower heritage of Riverwood.  It uses an easy to use cross-indexing system, showcases high resolution photographs of 150 plant species, and offers natural history, practical uses and anecdotal information.  Click the media release on the right panel for more details.
