Volunteering and Team-Building

MGC welcomes corporations, businesses, Scouts, Pathfinders, schools or other organized groups who want to volunteer at Riverwood. Team-building events can be tailored to your particular group, or you can join in a public event.PricewaterhouseCoopers Volunteer Team
In the past, these volunteers have:
  • Planted native trees and shrubs to restore wildlife habitat
  • Planted perennials and annuals in the Chappell House Gardens
  • Cleaned up the park
  • Built a raised boardwalk to protect the root zone of two 350 year old Sugar Maples
  • Built bird nesting boxes
  • Removed invasive plants
  • Maintained the public and education trails of Riverwood

Why not think about a project that allows your organization to give back to the community in a tangible way? Join in a planned special event or speak to us about a volunteer stewardship project customized especially for your group.
